Member States have elected Dr Cosmas ZAVAZAVA of Zimbabwe as the next Director of the Telecommunication Development Bureau of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

    Cosmas Zavazava of Zimbabwe was elected Director of the Telecommunication Development Bureau of ITU with 101 votes. 165 Member States were present and voting and the required majority was 83. Stephen Bereaux of the Bahamas received 63 votes.
